I paid but never got my key

Sign in to your account — your key is displayed there, and the "Email me my key" button resends it. Check spam for a message from locwinn.com. Still nothing? Email us from the address you bought with and we'll look it up.

Windows warned me about the installer

The installer is signed by Bamahut LLC, our company. A new release has few downloads yet, and Windows or your browser can warn about that for a while; it isn't malware detection. See the download page for the few clicks past it and how to check the publisher. If you'd like every install step spelled out with pictures, use the step-by-step install guide.

The installer says my key isn't valid

• Keys look like LOCW-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and never contain the letters I or O or the digits 0 and 1 — retype carefully or copy from your account rather than the email.
• Once a subscription has expired or been refunded, new installs stop working. A cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. Check your license status in your account.
• If the installer says the server was unreachable, check your connection and try again in a minute; installing needs an internet connection for this check.

A site loaded that shouldn't have

No blocker catches everything, and some setups weaken the block: a VPN can route around it, and brand-new sites take time to be recognized. If a mainstream site slipped through in a normal setup, tell us the address. That's all we need, since we can't see your browsing, and we read every report.

I want to uninstall

The full process — including the Nuclear waiting period and the 72-hour password window — is on the uninstalling page. If your delay has passed and no password email arrived, write to us from your account address.

Removing locwinn when the uninstaller can't

If the uninstaller says part of locwinn is missing, your antivirus has most likely set that file aside. Nothing is broken, and you are not stuck.

1. Download locwinn again and run the installer. It puts the missing part back.
2. Run the uninstaller again.

Refunds

A first purchase can be refunded within 14 days — see the refund policy for how. Not sure locwinn is for you? Start on the monthly plan rather than the yearly one. You can cancel any time from your account; that stops the next charge and your license runs to the end of the period you've paid for. Details in the terms.

I found locwinn on my machine and didn't install it

You deserve a straight answer. locwinn is a content blocker, not spyware — it cannot see your browsing, your files, or your keystrokes; it only blocks adult sites. It's meant to be installed with the machine owner's knowledge; our terms forbid covert installs on another adult's machine. If this is your own machine and someone else installed it without your consent, email us — we'll confirm what it does and help you remove it. If the machine belongs to your employer, school, or family, the install choice may be theirs; talking to them is the right first step.
