Refund policy

Fourteen days, any reason, no questions. If locwinn isn't what you expected, email license@locwinn.com within 14 days of your purchase and you get your money back. You don't have to explain why, and we won't try to talk you out of it.

How to ask

Email license@locwinn.com from the address you bought with, or use the billing portal in your account. One of us reads every message — locwinn is made by one person, so the reply comes from them.

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, so the refund is issued by Paddle and returns to the card or PayPal account you paid with. It usually lands within a few business days, depending on your bank.

What a refund does to your license

A refund revokes the license. New installs stop working immediately. A machine that already has locwinn installed keeps blocking until its cached receipt expires — the engine was built never to strand a machine mid-block, so removal still follows the normal path described on the uninstalling page, including any delay you chose. Getting your money back does not unlock your machine early. That's the feature working, not a fault.

After 14 days

We don't refund past 14 days, and we don't refund part-used subscription periods. What we do instead is make leaving easy: cancel any time from your account, and your license runs to the end of the period you've already paid for and then stops renewing. You never need to email a human to stop a charge.

If you're unsure whether locwinn is for you, start on the monthly plan. It exists precisely so you can find out for the smallest amount we can charge, rather than buying a year on a hunch.

Renewals

A renewal charge is not a new trial. If a renewal catches you by surprise — you meant to cancel and didn't — write to us anyway. We'd rather refund a renewal nobody wanted than keep money from someone who tried to leave.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law, including the 14-day right of withdrawal where it applies (EU/UK). Paddle is the merchant of record and the seller of the transaction, so Paddle's buyer terms also govern your purchase, and Paddle may issue a refund on its own initiative or to resolve a payment dispute.
